Jelly Roll’s New Love Song to His Wife Is a Hopeless Romantics Anthem: “If It’s Not a Bunnie and Jelly Love, I Don’t Want It”
Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo’s relationship is one of the most remarkable love stories in all of current pop culture. Between XO helping Roll get custody of his daughter, and Roll being supportive of Xo’s former vocation, the two’s relationship is possibly one everyone should try to model. That being so, the two have always outwardly expressed their gratitude and love for each other and it hasn’t stopped.
Matter of fact, it just ramped up, as Xo posted the teaser to a love song that will be on Roll’s newest album, Beautifully Broken. Frankly, it comes as a surprise this didn’t come sooner. It’s hard to count how many times Roll has publicly expressed the undying love he has for his wife. However, it’s never too late to say “I love you” and can never be said too often. Thus, a new Jelly Roll love song is born.
Bunnie Xo’s Shares Snippet of New Jelly Roll Song
Xo took to TikTok to drop the news. In the post, she simply stated, “He Wrote Me a New Song” and “#jellyandbunnie.” Additionally, the post featured some behind-the-scenes footage of the couple spending time together in various undisclosed areas. In essence, the video was brief and did exactly what it was supposed to do—Tease.
It’s fair to assume that the song playing in the background of the video is seemingly the love song Xo references in the post. That being so, it seems Roll is entering some unprecedented bluesy territory within his music with some romantically compelling lyrics to go along with it. One of the lines reads: Woman, without you on my lips / I’d just be a man doing things I know I should quit. Furthermore, it seems the chorus includes the line: Don’t let me come down from you.
The song had hopeless romantics everywhere flooding the comment section of Bunnie Xo’s video.
“if it’s not a bunnie and jelly love I don’t want it,” one fan wrote. Another added, “All us Hopeless romantics are drinking the shit out of hateraid right now. GOD we love yalls love story.” Keeping with the theme, yet another fan sent love the power couple’s way, writing “Absolute Legends Right Here My Favorite Love Story of All Time.”
‘Beautifully Broken’
Beautifully Broken will be Roll’s first album since his 2023 record, Whitsitt Chapel. With its intended release to be on October 11, Roll has already released a few of the singles on the album. Those singles include, “Liar,” “Winning Streak,” “I Am Not Ok,” and “Get By.”
Given the release of these singles and Bunnie Xo’s teaser of the love song, it seems Jelly Roll’s new album will be toiling with some highly personal subject matter. However, this comes as no surprise as Roll has always been one to be vulnerable for the sake of helping others.
