Baby Esti is getting an early start on her music career, if that’s what she wants. Cookbook author Chrissy Teigen just shared a sweet video clip of her husband, Grammy-winning Coach of The Voice, John Legend, playing piano for the family with the little girl on his lap. Of course, he had to soundtrack the family dance party!

In her Instagram stories in December 27, Teigen, who along with her family is in New York City for the holidays, shared a clip of herself and the kids listening to the Bacao Rhythm & Steel Band’s cover of 50 Cent and Snoop Dogg’s “P.I.M.P.” She shouted out the source of the song, too, writing, “If you don’t watch anatomy of a fall for the incredible acting, PLEASE watch it for this insane amazing @50cent rendition by @bacaorsb !!!!” Anatomy of a Fall is a crime drama directed by Justine Triet, and is currently in theaters.

In the clip, the couple’s eldest daughter, Luna, shouts, “turn it down!” and covers her ears, but as Legend enters the area, Teigen shouts, “turn it up!” Sorry, Luna.
With Esti on his lap, Legend immediately sits down at the piano to play the song. Did he already know it, or is he one of those people who can play anything he hears? Either way, so impressive.
Legend has also spent time with the family’s baby son Wren at the keys, as he showed in this “Christmas Crew” post. Happy, smiley, “Cabbage Patch Doll” Wren looks all too happy to be at the piano, and we can only imagine that soon he will be duetting his father as they serenade the family, just like Legend did when he played a kids song for Esti.
John Legend’s daughter Esti is almost one
The little girl arrived January 13, 2023. Legend and Teigen informed fans of Esti’s arrival by sharing a photo of Luna and Miles cradling the newborn. “On Friday, we welcomed Esti Maxine Stephens to our family, and our house is overflowing with love and joy. I’m in awe of Chrissy’s strength and resilience and I’m so thrilled to see how Luna and Miles embrace their baby sister. I’m so, so grateful, but that doesn’t seem like a big enough word…,” Legend captioned the photo.
“She’s here! Esti Maxine Stephens – the house is bustling and our family could not be happier 💕 Daddy sheds nightly tears of joy seeing Luna and Miles so full of love, and I am learning you still need diapers with a c section!? We are in bliss. Thank you for all the love and well wishes – we feel it all! X,” Teigen wrote on her post. So, she’ll be releasing an album any day now.
