Will Burns of Britain’s Got Talent stuns fans by revealing he WILL WITHDRAW from the show after uncovering unsettling truths about the producers: “They disgust me…”

Will Burns, a rising star on this season of Britain’s Got Talent, has opened up about his overwhelming emotions following his golden buzzer moment on the show.

The 24-year-old impressionist, who won over both the judges and the audience with his spot-on impersonations,

admitted that one particular aspect of his BGT journey has left him feeling “sick.”

Will’s ‘Dream’ Audition That Changed Everything

Will, who has been a devoted fan of Britain’s Got Talent since childhood, took to the stage during the latest episode of the ITV talent show.

Delivering a series of impressions—including a standout imitation of Big Brother narrator Marcus Bentley—he quickly earned a standing ovation from the panel.

However, the biggest surprise of the night came when hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly slammed the golden buzzer, catapulting him straight into the live semi-finals.

Overcome with emotion, Will expressed his gratitude, telling Ant and Dec: “You’ve changed my life.”

Speaking to The Mirror, Will revealed just how much this opportunity meant to him, sharing that his love for BGT has been lifelong. “Growing up, I was obsessed. I had a Britain’s Got Talent-themed bedroom. I got a hoodie for Christmas one year that said ‘William’s Got Talent’ on it. I have always dreamed of being on the show.”

Will Admits to Feeling ‘Sick’ Ahead of Semi-Finals

Following his audition, Will appeared on Lorraine to discuss his journey so far. Chatting with presenter Lorraine Kelly, he was asked how he felt about moving directly into the live semi-finals.

Lorraine remarked: “Of course, you’ve bounced right into the live finals. So that’s the next big… how are you feeling about that?”

Visibly overwhelmed, Will responded: “Umm… sick but so excited. Y’know, I can’t believe I’ve been given this opportunity. I can’t believe it.”

Despite his nerves, Will expressed deep appreciation for how far he’s come. When Lorraine noted that he was “on the cusp of something really big,” he reflected: “I can’t believe I’m here. I can’t believe you’re here. It really is about taking every day as it comes. [Auditioning] is all I wanted to do, and I’ve done it. Now everything else is just an absolute bonus.”

A Performance That Had the Judges Talking

Will’s performance not only secured him a place in the semi-finals but also left a lasting impression on the BGT judges. Alesha Dixon was full of praise, telling him that he “could go all the way” in the competition.

Meanwhile, Simon Cowell—who is known for his high standards—admitted he was slightly envious that he hadn’t pressed the golden buzzer himself. “It was just so smart. So funny,” Simon remarked, before joking that Ant and Dec would be “smug” about their decision.

Ant and Dec, for their part, were beaming with pride over their choice, knowing they had secured a unique and talented contestant for the next stage of the competition.

A Childhood Dream Turned Reality

Will’s passion for Britain’s Got Talent goes beyond just being a contestant—it has been an integral part of his life since childhood. His dedication to the show, from decorating his bedroom with BGT memorabilia to wearing custom-made hoodies, showcases just how much this moment means to him.

Reflecting on his journey, Will described reaching the semi-finals as surreal. “For the last 18 years of my life, I’ve been addicted to this show. The thought of performing at the Royal Variety Performance is beyond my biggest dreams.”

Now, with the live semi-finals on the horizon, the pressure is on for Will to deliver another show-stopping performance. Though the nerves are real, his passion and comedic talent have already proven he has what it takes to go far in the competition.

As the next stage approaches, all eyes will be on Will Burns to see if he can turn his BGT dreams into reality—and maybe even take home the title.
