Dylan Dreyer sparked speculation that she departed TODAY feeling dissatisfied following remarks she made about the program’s leadership.

Dylan Dreyer, the beloved co-host of Today and the face of NBC’s Earth Odyssey, is waving goodbye to a major milestone

as she wraps up season seven of her nature-filled adventure show.

As the season concludes, Dreyer takes a moment to reflect on the journey, the challenges, and the exciting future that lies ahead.

Earth Odyssey, a half-hour show that takes viewers on an incredible journey to explore the wildest corners of the planet, has been part of Dreyer’s portfolio since 2019.

With each episode, the show uncovers the connection between the environment, wildlife, and humans in some of the most exotic and remote locales.

The show’s unique mix of adventure, wildlife, and environmental education has made it a favorite for many fans of nature documentaries.

Dreyer took to Instagram to announce the wrap of season seven, sharing behind-the-scenes footage and photos of the production. In her post, she expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to work with such talented individuals and highlighted a special guest, Rae Wynn Grant, from Wild Kingdom. Dreyer thanked the Omaha Zoo and Mutual of Omaha for hosting them and gave a special shout-out to her hair stylist, Aaron Eldin Bauer, for making sure she always looks her best on set.

“Wrapping SEASON 7 (!!!) of @nbcearthodyssey with a very special guest! @raewynngrant of @wildkingdomtv fame! Thanks to @omahazoo and @mutualofomaha for hosting us!! @aaroneldinbauer you’re the best and no one does my hair better than @getrusso_ !! I love this team!!” she wrote, celebrating the team effort that went into bringing the season to life.

Balancing Earth Odyssey with her demanding role on Today is no small feat, but Dreyer seems to manage it all with grace. Her role on Today as a meteorologist and lifestyle correspondent keeps her in the public eye, while her work on Earth Odyssey allows her to combine her passion for nature with her on-screen presence.

When she’s not hosting or filming, Dreyer is also busy with her family life. As a mother of three boys—Rusty, Ollie, and Calvin—she finds joy in her role as a hands-on mom, even though it comes with its fair share of challenges. She’s previously shared that her family is her number one priority and that her children have changed her life in unexpected ways. Dreyer also expressed that she feels complete with her current family and is done with having more children, joking with her husband, Brian Fichera, that if they tried for a girl, they would likely end up with another boy.

“I think I’ve maxed out now,” she confessed to HELLO! magazine, adding, “I wish I had started having kids sooner, because I really love everything about kids.” Dreyer, who has been married to Brian since 2012, has found joy in parenting and says that it’s brought out more patience in her. Her own mother’s parenting style, which encouraged freedom and the ability to make decisions, has heavily influenced Dreyer’s approach with her own children.

Despite her busy career and family life, Dreyer has managed to carve out time to inspire others through her work. Whether it’s sharing her adventures on Earth Odyssey or promoting the importance of spending time in nature, she continues to motivate her followers to appreciate the world around them. In addition to her television roles, Dreyer is also a children’s book author, having written Misty the Cloud: A Very Stormy Day, a story that teaches young children about weather.

As Dreyer takes a short break from filming Earth Odyssey, her fans are looking forward to what the next season will bring, as she continues to balance her successful career and her role as a dedicated mother and wife. Whether she’s on set with Rae Wynn Grant or spending quality time with her three boys, Dylan Dreyer is a prime example of how to manage a demanding career while staying connected to what matters most.
